Convinced of Mental Ray’s engine power towards stills and animation, I’m going to try and convince you people as well that Mental Ray is the way to go.

These video’s will variate from Beginner-level to Mediate-level to perhaps even Advanced usage of Mental Ray.

Bare in mind, I’m not claiming to know “the” awnsers and be a guru of some kind, I am not. What I do is back-engeneer the mental-ray-engine (still am ’till this day) and share my findings with the community. All I’m trying to do in the end is HELP you save money by not bashing and throwing keyboards, mouses, monitors,… through the window cause Mental Ray crashes or something doesn’t make sense!

This is also a good place for beginners who for example used VRay, Brazil, Maxwell, … and want to start learning the render-engine that came with Max – which gets you the same (or better) level of realistic renders then other render-egnines.
