Irradiance Particle .mi scene not rendering

I am following the Irradiance Particle thread on Lamrug and wanted to test it out. I downloaded the ipsimple.mi scene however when i go to render I get quite a few API error messages. (Please see link)

I am not why this problem is happening nor how to fix it.

I am using maya MR Standalone 3.6.51.0 on WinXP 64
