Does anyone just "light" anymore??

I was a Fakeosity Guy. I've made a ton of jobs using it (including my avatar image) lol. All my life i had to tweak lights to squish my results from it. But now i am sold to FG...

But, there's a difference, i know how to do without it, and then i got it . This is a bit different from only put FG on the scene. I think it's very valuable to learn the basics of "fake" lighting. It's more knowledge and it won't weight on the negative side, only positive.
I am always tweaking or fine tuning scenes using a few set of lights + FG + MR SkyPortal and Photometric lights anyway.

I would add that some times people misstake compositing to old schcool ligting. I think it has more to do with a way of thinking, It has always been usful to know how to "fake" lighting but every time is faster and faster rendering physicaly correct images. So, yes, I think the old ways of lighting are slowly getting behind.

Basically, human exteremely poorly equipped "eyeball" the light color and intensity, and has eye bouncelights the like, just waiting for disaster ....
