Flickering Material

I'm doing an animation. I have 1 material that's flickering. I'm using the FG medium preset. Pre calculating FG 1 file per frame because the animation contains a moving camera and moving objects. See image 1

I have a feeling it's not FG but the material. The material uses a mix map. Colour 1 and Colour 2 of the mix map are speckle materials and the mix amount is set by a cellular material. See image 2

Any ideas.
