Default Transluceny with attenuation ?

Hi,
Whats the best shader to create a rubber material thats a little transparent but has more subsurface scattering ?
I was trying the A&D shader using the translucency but it didn't seem to give me the attenuation that you get where the object gets thinner.
Does the A&D Transulcency work with "max distance in refraction" ?

cheers

Hi,
If you don't need »real sss«, you could probably try setting a low refraction / glossiness value and as you mentioned the max distance (color) value set to your desired translucency / refractive color which should give you the »attenuation effect« on thinner objects.
