Default color Bleed+FG

Hi, Is it possible to control color bleed by just using FG, no GI photons.

LOL.. just joking
well what kind of material are you using? if you use Mental Ray material you can put a Photon Basic shader in the Photon slot.
Now if you are using A&D materials the color bleed should the the right one I mean the real one for your illumination.
You can control it any ways playing with the Falloff values of the FG but this also affect your whole scene. you can see and read this post, here is alot of information about it

Hey Guys,

If simple colour bleed control is all that is
needed then messing around with the 'Ctrl'
shaders is unecessary. Using the FG controls
and the properties of the A&D shader gives
you plenty of control.

Bri

Hi Brian Bradley
can you please explain how to i am bit weak, as your post at
http://www.vizdepot.com/forums/showt...ht=color+bleed
you have suggested it and as Jeff Patton said that we can control it via fall off value of FG but that is global value and would effect whole calculation process, so .. last option without Ctrl is A&D, so how to .. it will be so much help full
Thanks

Hi MaxLover,

All you need to do is control the reflectance
of your material by using the diffuse colour
spinner in your A&D shader.

more in depth discuusions are in 2 MBM
modules.

Overview series Module 2 (actually the colour
bleed control is in the addendum to the module)

How To Series Module 4

Regards
Bri
